With it’s low aspect ratio and deep profile you’d
be hard pushed to find a more stable kite than the U-Turn
Helium II, many people have described it as ‘luff-proof’.
Of course this combined with it’s easy handling makes
it an ideal beginners kite, but that’s not the full
story. The Helium II will surprise many with its performance
and more experienced flyers won’t find it lacking in
pulling power and speed
The Helium II also makes a
great value for money depowerable kite, supremely stable and
easy to fly, it is easily converted to depower with the easy
to fit U-Turn SPS Speed/Power System
The build quality is of course up to the usual U-Turn paraglider
airworthiness standard, a step up from the traditional kite
manufacturers and well ahead of the cheap kites often sold
to those new to the sport. All seams are double stitched,
critical points are reinforced and the bridle is sewn.
An ideal kite for gusty, turbulent inland winds or for relaxed
cruising anywhere, the Helium II is one kite that you can
trust not to do anything nasty while you’re not looking
