North Trust Bar 2010 - 20m Lineset

This year North have done it again. We thought that the last ironheart was good but this year it is engineering finesse. Simple release and even more simple re-load. The donkey is on a ratchet so you can rotate it out of the way for unhooking and it stays out of the way!

This, is only the beginning. The chicken loop is now fully swiveling, so if your're like us and rotate more one way than the other when hooked in, your lines will not twist up.

Another new for 2010 is the 5th line that runs straight through the middle of the ironheart and has a steel ring to attach inside the chicken loop. Nothing amazing you may think but you can simply load the chicken loop through the steel ring and now you have a suicide setup that if you fire the quick release goes to 5th line for added safety. A few riders and our North rider had a similar system running and we like that it is now standard. Our only criticism is the steel ring is a bit thin, the user manual says replace it if it bends oval, c'mon North, you did so well here, why not make one thicker?????

Finally the centre section is solid aluminium with no grip on it to get chewed up by the ironheart and it locks into position thanks to a slotted hole.
