Well 2009 was a bit gloomy wasn't it!
Damn that recession but we feel it had to happen sooner or later. Over the last few years we've seen things slowing and being a niche seller in an expensive sport means we have felt the full force of the downturn in consumer spending. Needless to say we are optimistic and have new plans for a new year.
We have enjoyed a few adventures over the Christmas period, climbing Conniston Old Man. Viewing the whole of the Lake district covered in a blanket of white snow with beautiful blue skies above enhancing it's majesty and to cap it off one of our friends completed his first Tandem with his girlfriend as crash test dummy and all 10 of us had a great 8 minute flight down into the village in still air giving us time to take in the view. Quite spectacular and finishing my first year paragliding almost to the day.
Now it's time to give EK a kick up the bum!
Our website is now the target of our energy, expect to see all the 2010 products appearing shortly and a few end of season sale items popping up in the Bargain Basement. We are looking into new premises with our existing partners MJ Cycles and hope to have a better in shop experience for 2010, more news to follow on that.
